Research Interests

My research interests focus on the redox regulation of cell signaling as associated with many inflammatory diseases. We especially study the impact of small signaling molecules such as H2O2, NO and CO. Studies are conducted in immune cell cultures and animal and human tissues, using a wide range of techniques including spectroscopic, fluoroscopic and luminescent bulk and single cell assays, as well as immunhistochemical, cell and molecular biology techniques. We employ a unique ultrasensitive measurement techniqe of hydrogen peroxide as real-time assay and as end-point measurement assay.
